The main functions of the Department of Economic Policy (DEP) is to conduct economic and fiscal analysis and research including but not limited to macroeconomic frameworks, fiscal strategy, policy research and analysis, poverty analysis and policy, public expenditure analysis, tax policy, trade and industrial development policy, human resources analysis, forecasting and development strategies.
