The Government of Lesotho has received financing from the
World Bank towards the cost of the Preparation Phase
Facility for Phase II of Water Sector Improvement Project,
and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant
services for the Engineering Manager. The overall
responsibility of the Engineering Manager will be to
represent the Metolong Authority and oversee the Metolong
Programme Management Unit in the management of all
engineering aspects of the Metolong Programme, in line with
the project objectives and in accordance with the
financiers’ set objectives. The Engineering Manager will be
engaged for a period not exceeding five (5) years, subject
to annual renewal based on satisfactory work performance.
The Ministry of Natural Resources now invites eligible
consultants to indicate their interest in providing this
service by submitting detailed Curriculum Vitae (CVs) and a
brief methodology on how to carry out the assignment.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the
procedures set out in the World Bank Guidelines:
Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank
Borrowers (Revised October 2006).

or request for them by email from the undersigned during
office hours (8:00 to 14:30hrs local time).
Submissions, clearly marked “EOI Engineering Manager for
Metolong Dam and Water Supply Programme” must be
delivered at the physical address below by confirmed email,
hard copy, or fax by Friday 28 November 2008, at 16:30hrs.
