INVITATION FOR SUBMISSION OF BIDS FOR FUEL SUPPLY AND
MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Ministry of Finance and Development Planning invites bids
for Fuel supply Management and lubricants for Government
vehicles. This will entail managing and servicing all
Government fuel depots in the districts and home based sites
for bulk loading facilities used mainly for emergency
purposes. The company awarded the tender will be expected to
enter into a five (5) year contract with the Government of
Lesotho on terms and conditions that will be agreed to by
both parties.
Terms of
Reference:
To manage fuel services on all the depots for the Government
of Lesotho
To provide suitable strategies that will help combat fuel
theft
To recommend an appropriate technology solutions which will
control vehicle fuel usage.
To also offer fuel services and lubricants to home based
sites\
Requirements:
The following documentation is mandatory and should be
attached to the bids;
Certified copy of a valid Traders Licence
Certified copy of a valid Tax Clearance Certificate
Company Profile indicating ownership of the company
Audited Financial Statements for the past two years
Details of previous experience
All certification to be done by office of origin
Non compliance with the above requirements will invalidate
the bid

Submission:
The closing date for the bids is 19 September 2008.
Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box situated at Finance
House, 3rd Floor, on or before 14:00 noon on the 19th
September 2008, and the bid opening will be at 14:30 on the
same date in the presence of the bidder’s representatives
who choose to attend. Late bids shall not be considered.
