  TENDER NOTICE  
 
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security through the Department of Crops Services invites tenders from eligible suppliers for the supply of Fertilizers for the financial year 2012/2013. Bidding documents are available at the Procurement Unit at a non-refundable fee of M100.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

1. Adherence to technical specification. (Detailed description of the product tendered for)
2. Financial ability - Submit recent audited financial statements and/or evidence of availability of credit from an authorized financial Institution.
3. Time of delivery – within 7 days after a receipt of a purchase order at Ha-Foso Warehouse.
4. Price.

The Tenders must be in sealed envelops marked “SUPPLY OF FERTILIZER TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CROPS SERVICES” and must be deposited into a tender box situated at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security Administration Building ground floor, or posted to the following address:

SUBMISSION

The closing date for submission of tenders is on Tuesday 5th June 2012 at 12.00pm while opening will be on the same day at 2.00pm in the presence of tenderers or their representatives. The anticipated evaluation date will be on the 6th June 2012 and award of contract a week after cooling off period.

All prospective suppliers to the Lesotho Government are expected to be in compliance with their tax obligations. All should therefore attach certified copies of valid tax clearance certificates and traders’ licenses. Please note that copies should be certified from the source. Moreover, only tenderers with relevant traders’ licenses to the subject matter will be considered. Prices should include tax

The Government of Lesotho reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders for reasons it will advance and it is not bound to accept a tender with the lowest price.
