PROJECT TITLE: SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCE
MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME
1. The Government of Lesotho has received a fund from the
International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in
various currencies towards the cost of Sustainable
Agriculture and Natural Resources Management Programme. It
is intended that part of the proceeds of this fund will be
applied to eligible payments under the contract for
procurement of Office equipment and furniture.
The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the supply of:
LOT 1
• OFFICE FURNITURE
LOT 2
• OFFICE EQUIPMENT
3. Interested eligible bidders can bid for one lot only or
both lots, and may also obtain further information from and
inspect the bidding documents at:

4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by
interested bidders on the submission of a written
application to the above and upon payment of a nonrefundable
fee of Two Hundred Maluti (M 200.00) or US Dollar
equivalent.
5. The provisions in the instructions to Bidders and in
General Conditions of Contracts are the provisions of the
Ifad Standard Bidding Documents: Procurement of Goods.
6. All Bids must be accompanied by a security of between
2-3% of the bid value and must be delivered to:

-:ON or before 22nd September 2008 at 16.00 hours
7. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’
representatives who choose to attend on 23rd September 2008
at 09:00 hours at the Board Room Ministry of Agriculture and
Food Security situated at Constitution Road Maseru 100,
Lesotho. |
