TENDER NOTICE
The Government of Lesotho through Ministry of Agriculture
and Food Security - District Procurement Unit Botha-Bothe
invites tenders for local companies for supply of Security
Guards.
CONDITION OF THE TENDER
Sealed bids bearing no identification of the Tenderers must
be marked “Tender for supply of Security Guards to DAO Botha-Bothe”
and should be deposited in the tender box
situated in the foyer of LSPP Building Botha – Bothe.
SPECIFICATION
- Ten local armed security guards that will be placed as
follows:-
- DAO Head office (2 armed guards, 1 at night and 1 during
the day)
- T.O.U (1 armed guard)
- Vet Clinic (1 armed guard)
- Khukhune Resource Centre (1 armed guard)
- Selomo Resource Centre (1 armed guard)
- Qholaqhoe Resource Centre (1 armed guard)
- Nqabeni Resource Centre (1 armed guard)
- Matsoaing Resource (1 armed guard)
- Ngoajane Resource Centre (1 armed guard)
- Should be liable for losses incurred during their control
- Contract agreement is for 12 months starting from 1st
April 2008
- At DAO Head office guards should be on duty during
weekends, holidays and working days (day and night)
- At T.O.U, Vet Clinic, Khukhune RC, Selomo RC, Qholaqhoe
RC, Nqabeni RC, Matsoaing RCand Ngoajane RC guards should be
on duty during weekends and holidays (day and night) and
also should be on duty at nights during working days.
- Check and protect DAO’s assets against theft and vandalism
TENDER EVALUATION CRITERIA
- Financial capability of carrying out tendered job
- Technical capability of carrying out tendered job
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Four
thousand Eight hundred Maloti (M4800.00) for thirty (30)
days beyond the validity of the bid at DAO`s Office
Tenders close on Tuesday 11th March, 2008 at 12:00 hrs. Bids
will be opened at 14:15 on the same date. Interested
illegible bidders may obtain further information at DAO Botha-Bothe Administration: 22460215 / 22461875
NB: All prospective suppliers to the Government of Lesotho
should be tax compliant and should attach certified copies
of income tax, VAT clearance and traders licence to their
documents. Those copies must be certified by their issuing
departments. Quotation amount to include 14% VAT and 5%
source tax will be charged.
