MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND DEVELOPMENT PLANNING – THE
POSITION OF DIRECTOR (NMDS)
The National Manpower Development Secretariat is undergoing
a restructuring programme in the endeavour to improve
service delivery. The Secretariat is also transforming its
management to enable it to handle manpower development
administration and to effectively lead Government in
ensuring that trained manpower is fully utilised.
The reforms include the formation of a council that will
make final decisions in relation to the administration of
training and loan bursary, development of policies and
procedures.
The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning is looking
for an energetic individual who will lead the transformation
of the management of loan bursaries, develop and monitor
Training and Development Policies and procedures, administer
the loan bursary fund and act as a secretary to the newly
formed council. The successful candidate shall report to the
Principal Secretary and the Council. The details of this

Job Specification
- Master’s
degree in social sciences or equivalent, plus five (5)
years experience at the managerial level.
OR
- BA degree
in social sciences or equivalent, plus seven (7) years
working experience at the managerial level.

- Analytical

communicator.
