Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP) has set up a Helpdesk Office (Call Centre) to respond to IFMIS related problems, queries and requests for the;

IFMIS application
• IFMIS Computer Systems and
• The Wide Area Network problems.


ALL IFMIS USERS must call 22021000 (Two, Two, Zero, Two, One Thousand) or use email address, helpdesk@finance.gov.ls to report their problems, queries or their requests.
 

IFMIS COMPUTER EQUIPMENT – GUIDELINES FOR CUSTODIANS

This equipment has been provided under a grant from the 9th European Development Fund and is under warranty until June 2011. to ensure the warranty is not voided through improper treatment of the equipment, please observe the following guidelines.

1. The IFMIS Help Desk – telephone 22021000 – will provide any assistance required with the IFMIS equipment. Please do not allow non Help Desk staff or anyone else to open or tamper with the equipment. If the equipment requires attention, contact the IFMIS Help Desk.

2. Use of external media like CD’s, DVD’s ( if relevant) or USB is not allowed to protect from viruses and illegal copying of data.

3. Installation of any software (beyond what is installed) is strictly prohibited.

4. Do not move the equipment or unplug its cables. If it needs to be moved, contact the IFMIS Help Desk.

5. Do not consume food or drink near the equipment. Spilt liquids can render the equipment inoperable.

6. Please ensure that the equipment is kept clean and free of dust. Do not block ventilation holes on the equipment.

7. Do not log into the IFMIS and then leave the workstation unattended. Always log out when you have finished your session.

8. Please ensure the equipment is turned off when you leave the office in the evening.

9. It is illegal to share your password secured and to yourself. You will be held personally responsible if your password is used by another person.

Please remember that you are responsible for this equipment. The serial numbers have been registered to your name. if you require any more information about care of the equipment, please contact the IFMIS Help Desk in the first instance.
