-  To coordinate the formation of ministry's plans, development programmes, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of all plans, projects and programmes.   

-  Participate in Identification, Formulation, Monitoring and Implementation of all Capital Projects.

-  Prepare, Coordinate and Facilitate Budget cycle. 
-  Prepare and Implement the Strategic plan, Operational Work Plans and other Plans.
